If you are a public relations practitioner, a small business owner, consultant or an individual looking for media coverage, you’ve come to the right place! Hampton Roads Media Connectionz is a FREE service to help reporters and sources find each other.

Fill out the form above, which means that you are signing up for a free subscription. This is a double opt-in system, so you will receive an email containing a link to click for confirmation. You can unsubscribe at any time.

BE SURE TO WHITE LIST "gail@theprbuzz.com" to make sure the newsletter does not wind up in your spam box. Every weekday you will receive a email with queries from reporters who cover Hampton Roads, Virginia. Respond to the reporter’s query if – and ONLY if – you can provide help for the specific topic for which the reporter needs help.

A few promises: You will only receive emails related to this service. And we will not share your contact information with anyone. Ever. Period.

A few ground rules: Make sure your response is ON TARGET. Do not pitch a story that is different from the query unless the journalist indicates that he/she is looking for new ideas. If we receive a legitimate complaint from a reporter that you are submitting completely off-subject pitches or spamming them, you will be banned from the service! So, think before you respond. If you have to think too hard about it, it probably doesn’t fit! When responding, don’t provide just your name and contact info and say, "call me." That isn’t helpful. Give the reporter enough details to let him/her determine if you are the best fit. Here’s where your best pitching skills count!

If you’re a JOURNALIST looking for sources, use this page to subscribe to the service and enter your query, and we’ll post it to the list.
